Privacy policy

Pickle Match Club™ ("PMC", "we", "us") runs pickleball events in Los Angeles and produces events for companies and private hosts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@picklematch.club or (424) 209-8268.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number.
• Play details: skill level, formats and nights you are interested in, attendance and check-ins, match results and standings.
• Event and partnership inquiries: company, role, budget range, timing and anything you write in the message field.
• Basic technical data from this site: pages viewed, device and browser type.

How we use it

• Running events: seeding draws, check-in, scoring, standings and results.
• Telling you about upcoming nights, schedules, results and occasional promotions, where you have opted in.
• Answering inquiries and preparing proposals.
• Understanding attendance so we can plan venues and formats.

SMS and email messaging

If you check the communications consent box, you agree to receive event announcements, schedules, results and occasional promotional messages from Pickle Match Club by SMS and email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from SMS at any time, or HELP for help. Email unsubscribe links are in every send. Consent is not a condition of participation in any event.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share numbers only with the messaging vendors that deliver our texts on our behalf.

Who we share data with

• Service providers that run our tools: event signups, messaging, payment processing, scheduling and our internal database.
• Venues, only where a booking requires a participant list.
• Sponsors and partners, in aggregate only. We do not hand over member contact details.
• Anyone we are required to share with by law.

Public standings and photography

Public rankings show first name and last initial only. Team and champion graphics may use a full name as it appears in our records. We photograph and film at events and may use those images to promote the club, our partners and our event production work. Ask us and we will remove you from an image or leave you out of the frame.

How long we keep it

We keep attendance and results for as long as the club runs them, because the standings depend on history. Contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them or you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, opt out of messaging, or ask that your name not appear in public standings. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information. Email hello@picklematch.club and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our events are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
