Terms of service

These terms cover this site, Pickle Match Club™ events and events we produce for clients. By signing up for an event or using this site you accept them.

Signing up and paying

• Spots are limited and confirmed in the order they are paid.
• Prices, formats, venues and times are listed on the signup page for each event and can change if a venue or the weather forces it.
• Signups are handled on picklematch.club, on Partiful and in the Pickle Match Club app. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Payment is due at signup unless we tell you otherwise, and the price shown is what you pay: the card processing fee is already included.

Cancellations and refunds

• Once you are registered, refunds are handled case by case — email hello@picklematch.club as early as you can and we will sort it out. You may always send someone in your place instead, at no cost.
• If we cancel for rain, flooding, unsafe heat, venue or staffing, you automatically receive credit toward a future event.
• Credits can be applied to any future program or event within 90 days.

Playing with us

Every participant completes a digital waiver once per season before playing. Pickleball involves physical activity and risk of injury. You play at your own risk, you confirm you are fit to play, and you are responsible for your own equipment and belongings. Follow venue rules and staff instructions at all times. Conduct

Call your own lines honestly, keep the games moving and be decent to everyone on the court. We can remove anyone for harassment, abuse, cheating or unsafe play, without a refund, and we can decline future signups.

Standings and results

Results and standings are recorded by our staff and published monthly. Scoring rules are on the standings page. Our decision on a scoring or seeding question is final, and we will always explain it if you ask.

Photography

We take photos and video at events and use them to promote the club and our work. If you would rather not appear, tell a host on the night or email us and we will handle it.

Produced events

Events we produce for companies and private hosts are covered by a separate written proposal and invoice, which sets out scope, headcount, deposit, cancellation window and any add-ons. Where that proposal and these terms disagree, the proposal wins.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Pickle Match Club is not liable for injury, loss or damage to property arising from participation in an event, beyond the amount you paid for that event.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County.
